At 11.10pm on 11/02/2026, CCTV captured footage of 2 suspects wearing balaclavas approaching an address on Best Lane, Oxenhope. The suspects smashed the passenger window of a 16 plate VW Golf and made off with the infotainment system. This crime has been linked to a similar theft in the area. Crime occurrence 13260085926 refers. Thieves often target vehicles’ in-car infotainment system, which is an integrated device that delivers information and entertainment functionality to drivers and passengers. Thieves tend to target Audis, BMWs, and Volkswagens by smashing the passenger window to remove the infotainment system, making the car unusable.
